My beautiful sister, Zelma Shook. She was the first person to greet me when I came into this world (at the tender age of 16) but the doctor was late! She said she should have smacked my bottom harder because she knew I’d probably need it soon anyway... and she said that she was right! ... lol I love my sister so very much and I’m heartbroken at her passing. She wasn’t just there for my birth, Zelma also accompanied me to the hospital when my first child was born... She comforted me and looked after both of us when we cane home from the hospital... She taught me how to cook many dishes I’d never tried, and to crochet after Mother taught me the chain stitch. Zelma patiently taught me that you could crochet more than a straight line of stitches and even make them look pretty! She was so talented in so many ways. She leaves me with so many warm, heartfelt memories, that I will always cherish! I love and miss you so much already, Sis, but I know you needed to be with Sam. My prayer is that you both Rest In Peace. I love you both always.

I’m so sorry to hear about Zelma.I adored this woman. She was so intelligent and incredibly talented. The crochet stuff she made for my kids throughout the years was so impressive...and she made the best tea and macaroni salad in the whole entire world. Prayers and many heartfelt condolences to the family. RIP Grandma Zelma ??
