William Ovington Wick, Sr., of Houston, Texas passed away October 27, 2002 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital shortly after moving to Houston from New Philadelphia to be near family.
He was born May 29, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Jane (Luke) Wick; daughter, Barbara (Will) Wick Noel; and son, William (Carrie) Ovington Wick Jr.
Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, November 2, 2002, 9:30 AM at Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland with a local memorial service the same day at 4 PM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home in New Philadelphia officiated by Rev. Stuart Barr. A reception will follow in the Geib Family Center, adjacent to the funeral home. Memorial donations are appreciated to First Presbyterian Church, 217 East High Avenue, New Philadelphia, OH 44663 or a charity of the donor’s choosing.
