Wanda A. Paris, 87, of New Philadelphia, passed away in New Dawn Healthcare on September 4, 2021, following a brief period of declining health.
Born December 17, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Lester W. and Margaret McRobie. After graduating from high school, Wanda continued her formal education at Beauty School.
She then owned and operated Paris Beauty Salon in New Philadelphia. She took great pride in her service to her clients, but most importantly, treasured the friendships she made over the years.
Wanda was a devoted wife to the late Louis S. Paris, who preceded her in passing in 1991. She also adored her children and grandchildren. Wanda loved to attend their events whether it was a musical production, sporting event, or other area of interest.
Wanda will be deeply missed by her family including her children, Michael (Kimberly) Paris of Powell, Louis (Dora) Paris and LuAnn (Don) Kennedy, both of New Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Lucca and Ryder Paris, Michael (fiancé, Ashtin Dallavia) Snyder, Ryan (Colleen) Snyder and Sydney Paris; her siblings, Myrtle Walker and Lester (Charlotte) McRobie, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Janet Everhart and Arlene Parsons.
Father Jeff Coning will officiate a funeral service at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 beginning at 1:30 p.m. No visitation will be held prior to the service. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery at New Philadelphia.
