Timothy Alvin Ledrich, Sr., 59, of New Philadelphia, died Monday, September 2, 2002, at Aultman Hospital in Canton.Born December 22, 1942, in Dover, he was the son of the late Alvin and Elizabeth Medley Ledrich. Timothy worked for 34 years at Republic Technologies International, in Massillon, as a Loader Leader in the 18-inch shipping department.Timothy was an avid NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt fan. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, spending time with and caring for his grandchildren and family. Surviving is his wife of 38 years, Catherine Ledrich, of the home, whom he married November 11, 1963; two daughters, Laura (Todd) Fillman of Port Washington and Kimberly (James) Warren of Fresno; a son, Timothy A. Ledrich, Jr. (Tasha Richardson) of North Canton; four grandchildren, Sara and Chase Fillman, Christopher and Kayleigh Menninger; one step-grandson, Todd P. Fillman; two brothers, John D. (Peggy) Ledrich of Massillon, Robert Joseph (Jane) Ledrich of New Philadelphia; two sisters, Sheila K. (Sam) McCue of New Philadelphia, Holly Shonk of Dover; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Barry Ledrich, and a brother-in-law, Joe Shonk, preceded him in death.Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 6, 2002, at 1:30 PM, in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home, New Philadelphia, with Rev. David L. Everett officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Burial Park in New Philadelphia. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 5, from 6-8 PM in the funeral home.
