Stanley J. Stropky, 65, of New Philadelphia, died Saturday, June 20, 2020 from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident.

Born at Dover, he was the son of the late Michael and Katherine (Sullivan) Stropky. He was a graduate of New Philadelphia High School and had retired from Republic Steel at Canton.

Stanley J. Stropky, 65, of New Philadelphia, died Saturday, June 20, 2020 from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident.

Born at Dover, he was the son of the late Michael and Katherine (Sullivan) Stropky. He was a graduate of New Philadelphia High School and had retired from Republic Steel at Canton.

He is survived by his son, Shawn Stropky of New Philadelphia and his brother, Steve (Elaine) Stropky of Dover. In addition to his parents, a sister, Patty Myers, also preceded him in death.

In keeping with his wishes, Stanley is to be cremated through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia and a private burial will be held at a later date.
