The Central York HIgh School class of 1979 sends condolences to Sonya's family and others who loved her. We just now found out she passed, and there is sadness among those who knew her and were friends of hers in high school. It is always sobering to lose someone you knew, who was your own age. We are so sad to hear of the passing of another classmate. We hope you have been able to find some peace, and comfort in memories. She will be missed by those who knew her in high school as well.

I am so sorry and saddened to learn of Sonya’s passing. She and I were together for many years in our early life and friends afterwards. I always loved her. My condolences to her family and friends.
