Scot E. Hupp, 58, formerly of New Philadelphia, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 24, 2021 in Akron.
Born in Dover, he was the son of the late John “Jack” and Ann C. (Carr) Hupp. A graduate of Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School and the Automotive Program at Buckeye Career Center at New Philadelphia, he had formerly worked as an Auto Body Repair Technician. Avid outdoorsman, Scot loved to hunt and fish and was “the best fisherman in the world!”
Surviving is a son, Michael Hupp of Cincinnati; his siblings, Jack (Terri) Hupp of Sherrodsville, Mike (Sue) Hupp of Huntsville, Dawn (Bob) Mendoza of Columbus, Steve (Cheryl) Hupp of West Lafayette, Mark Hupp of Rohnert Park, California, Lori (Tim) Beitzel of Bolivar, Todd Hupp of New Philadelphia and Dan (Janice) Hupp of Sherrodsville and more than 50 nieces and nephews.
Scot is to be cremated through the care of the Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory at Dover and private family burial will take place at a later date.
