Randy A. Bowe, 57, of Gnadenhutten, passed away in the Community Hospice Truman House on August 5, 2021 following a period of declining health.
Born in Dennison on October 28, 1963, he was the son of the late Melvin T. and Joyce M. (Hykes) Bowe.
After graduating from Indian Valley South High School in 1982, he began his professional career with Arizona Chemical, which spanned 32 years.
He greatly enjoyed vacationing with his family, watching sports and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will greatly be remembered for his sarcasm, dry sense of humor, and stubbornness.
Randy is survived by his wife, Shelley K. (Veley) Bowe, whom he married August 11, 2001; his children, Tyler (Kayla) Bowe of Arlington, Tennessee, Kaitlyn (Greg) Busby of Louisville, Ohio, and Cody Bowe of the home; his grandchildren, Rowen and Everhett Busby and Holden Bowe; his brother, Melvin Bryan (Kelly) Bowe of Port Washington; his mother and father-in-law, Brenda and John Veley; his brother-in-law, Ed (Diane) Veley; nephews, Brett and Shane Bowe; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 2 to 4 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Pastor Brian Flood will lead a celebration of Randy’s life in the funeral home’s chapel beginning at 4 p.m.
Memorial contributions in Randy’s name may be directed to Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Ave. SW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663.

So sorry to hear of Randy's passing. I grew up with Randy gigging suckers by his house. He was a great athlete and friend to everyone in school. A part of my childhood is gone with his passing my deepest sympathy to Randy's family. RIP bo bo
