Ramona F. Erwin

Ramona F. Erwin, 90, of New Philadelphia, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 in Park Village Health Care Center at Dover.

Born in New Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Edward B. and Elizabeth A. McKnight Reese and a 1946 graduate of Midvale High School in Midvale. Ramona had retired from the former I.F. Manufacturing in New Philadelphia where she had worked as a receptionist and switchboard operator and was formerly a member of the Roswell Senior Citizens and Dover V.F.W. Auxiliary.

She is preceded in death by her husband, the late William E. Erwin and surviving members of the family include, a daughter, Candi (Jesse) James of Bolivar; two sons, Edward (Wendy) Marinelli of New Philadelphia and John (Bonnie) Marinelli of DeBary, FL; a step-daughter, Sherri Buehler and her husband Paul Redmon of Dover; a step-son, Scott (Phyllis) Erwin of Ashland; three sisters-in-law, Barb Reese of New Philadelphia, Salli Reese of Oklahoma and Nancy Reese of Louisville; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren; step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. A step-daughter; a step-son, a sister and three brothers also preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 7, 2019 from 4 to 6 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 11 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Brian Flood officiating. Burial will be in East Avenue Cemetery at New Philadelphia. A reception will be held in the Geib Family Center following the burial.
