Patricia Jo Haney

March 18, 1948 — March 27, 2015

Patricia J. Haney, 67, of Uhrichsville, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 27, 2015 in Trinity West Hospital at Steubenville following a period of declining health.

A daughter of the late Fred and Lorene (Braglin) McDonald, Patricia was born March 18, 1948 at Dover, Ohio.

Patricia graduated from Dover High School in 1966. Then on August 6, 1966, she married the love of her life, Robert D. Haney.

She was retired from Lee’s Famous Recipe where she worked for more than 25 years. She was an avid fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Lebron James. Patricia also enjoyed completing crossword puzzles and answering questions as she watched Jeopardy.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Haney; a brother, Vernon (Marla) McDonald of Dover; a sister-in-law, Cynthia Haney of Stone Creek; two brothers-in-law, Terry (Roberta) Haney and Craig (Lisa) Haney both of Dover; nieces and nephews, Lori (Brian) Miller of Sugarcreek, Holly (Frank) Lehigh of New Philadelphia, Mike (Alicia) Haney of Dover, Ryan (Veronica) Haney of Gnadenhutten, Taylor Haney of Dover, Nikki (Ian) Shafer of Dennison, Josh Rader of New Philadelphia, Kerry Haney of New Philadelphia, Mindy (Tom) Hardman of Stone Creek and Amy (Matt) Harding of North Carolina; a great niece, Marsha (Jeremy) Herron of Sugarcreek; a great nephew, Christopher Sigler of New Philadelphia; great-great nieces, Brooke and Brandi Herron and a great-great nephew, Billy Herron; her dog, K.D.; two cats, Ms. Tic and Mr. Tac and many other extended family members.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and two nephews, John McDonald and Vernon McDonald.

In keeping with Patricia’s wishes there will be no calling hours and cremation will take place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 6, 2015 at 2 p.m. in Dover Burial Park with Pastor Larry Fletcher officiating. Following the service a meal will be held in the First Assembly of God Church at New Philadelphia.
