Patricia J. Armstrong

Patricia J. “Pat” Armstrong, age 91, of Leesville Lake, Worthington, and Dover, died peacefully Monday morning, January 2, 2023 in Cleveland Clinic at Stuart, FL.

Born January 7, 1931 in Jamestown, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Ruth Florence (Westerland) Anderson.

After graduating from Jamestown High School, she went to Baldwin Wallace College where she met her husband, the late Richard “Dick” Armstrong. They were married on November 23, 1950.

Pat worked at the Ohio State University ticketing from 1977 to 1990. She was an excellent needle-pointer and crocheter. She also loved being with her family and friends, especially at Leesville Lake and wintering in Florida.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Susan (husband, Jeff) Border of Dover, and sons, Jim and Murray Armstrong, both of Florida; her granddaughter, Elizabeth (husband Dennis) Klingensmith of N. Cuyahoga Falls; and 6 great-grandchildren, Danny, Greta, Clara, Peter, Joel, and Silas Klingensmith.

A public graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Amity Cemetery in Knox County in the Armstrong family plot.
