We are so saddened by this. Dr. Susey will be greatly missed. She provided exceptional care to our animals and saved the life of our beloved Maine Coon. She was an excellent Doctor. Our condolences to her family. May God comfort them during this tragic time.

The Telego Family of Niles, Ohio is deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Susey. We extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Dr. Susey as well as her colleagues, staff, friends and admirers. When someone passes, and if your lucky, people say nice things about you. We are very happy that we expressed our gratitude to Dr. Susey time and time again, face to face when she "fixed" our pets problems. Dr. Susey took very good care of our beagles. She helped us in saying good bye to our first beagle, Lady. When Lady was very old, she was suffering more than we knew. It was Dr Susey who helped us in a kind and compassionate way to pass Lady on to her reward, peacefully and with dignity. We thank Dr. Susey for that gift. After Lady, our next family of beagles became Bo and then Max. Each beagle had their own special issues that we needed to deal with. Dr. Susey was the medical and compassionate solution to all of their problems. At times, it seemed that she worked miracles! In fact, she was our female St. Francis. We have been very lucky, as pet owners, to have Dr. Susey come to town. She was something special! We will miss her! Only God can show mercy to us mere earthly mortals. We believe that only He with His unmeasureable love and wisdom can be merciful to a soul who has done so much good in her life. Therefore, we believe Dr. Susey will be with Our Father in heaven because He is all merciful and kind! With love and deep respect, Steve Sr., Janet, Rob & Angie.

My wife and I met Michele at Town and Country Vet Clinic about eight years. We were impressed by her down to earth explanation and compassion of our cat's condition. She was truly meant to be a vet, a caregiver of pets and companions. Michele will be sadly missed by all of her animal friends and clients at Town and Country.

My thoughts & prayers to the Susey family. She was my vet for my shelties Bailey & Parker for the last 10 years. I enjoyed so much seeing Dr. Michele at their check-ups, as she was always so calm & wonderful with my dogs. We would always laugh and catch up from the year before. Such a wonderful person & smart vet always spot on with their care & needs. I am so sad of her passing, Dr Michele we will miss you so much. Heaven gained an angel.

Michelle was our vet at Town and Country. Her love and dedication to help animals was amazing. We had issues with one of our dashounds and Michelle worked hours investigating a cure for her and even talked with other vets in Pa. and West Virginia to help our Sassy. We loved her as our vet and our friend. Our new dog Annie will miss her too. We are so sorry and will miss Michelle, we will pray for all of you. God bless all of you. Annie and Pucchinni are half brother and sister. Rich & Kathy.

I was very sad to hear of Michele's passing. She was a wonderful vet and so kind, compassionate and caring. I followed her to Town and Country in Warren when she moved from Hermitage Vet Clinic. She always took great care of my kitty Cali, and cried with me when she died of the rare cancer she had. I take comfort in knowing that she'll be caring for all of our beloved pets that have passed, now in Heaven. Eternal rest Michele. We loved you and you certainly will be missed. My deepest sympathies to her family.

I pray for you and your family at this significant loss of Dr. Susey. She was one of my vets, who when others wouldn't do surgery and felt it should be sent to a "specialist", she saved my fur babies life. She said she knew she could do it and she did!! We went back many times after that just for her to make sure things were going well and really appreciate her concern and love she showed my "Jack" and myself during this horrific time. She was so compassionate for what she did and it showed. A beautiful life was lost and we will forever be grateful. (Jack loved her to pieces as well as the other girls in the office). God bless you all. Dawn Holland

My most recent memory of Michele was from Thanksgiving two years ago. I invited a friend who was having her home built and wanted a warm place to share the Holiday outside the chaos of her life. She and her family came to my brother's (where we were all gathering for the Holiday) and Michele drove in to surprise her parents. Michele called me and told me not to mention her arrival to anyone. I was so excited! I just knew they would be thrilled to bits....everyone in the family always got excited when Michele came to Columbus. All that said, everyone arrived much joy was shared. However, most of the family did not get to interact with Michele much because of my friend Lynn. My dear friend would not leave Michele alone. She was CAPTIVATED with her. She has a horse farm, loves animals and would not give Michele a moment to herself. She was borderline smothering her with questions and wanting her to tell her stories about surgeries. I have never seen anything like it. I apologized to Michele. She said, I get that a lot being a Vet. Animal lovers really love me. I said I guess! I will never forget that Thanksgiving, nor my friend Lynn, and her total admiration for Michele. I always wished I could be as smart as Michele, and do something so magnificent that someone would sit in awe of me...I pray God helps Michele see what we have always seen and loved about her. Thank you for trying so hard Michele for yourself, your family, your friends and everyone you came into contact with. You were a blessing while we had you, and I miss you already.

To the Family of Dr. Susey, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Dr. Susey. I am a client of Town & Country and she has taken care of my animals. What a wonderful person and veterinarian she is. She always listened so carefully and treated my animals with gentle care. Her smile and soft spoken way was comforting. I could trust her reasoning abilities and recommendations. Dr. Susey was amazing when my daughter job shadowed at the clinic. She was very helpful and made an impression on her. She will be missed by all the people who's lives she has touched. I hope you find peace in the joy and support that she shared with her clients.

I am truly sorry for your loss. When we are faced with unbearable pain, we can find comfort in the hope found in the Bible. God promises to comfort us in all our trials. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) He promises that those who have fallen asleep in death will have the prospect of living forever in paradise. “And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection.“ (Acts 24:15) There will be a resurrection, and those who are brought back will not worry about sickness, pain, or death. (Revelation 21:4) May this hope comfort your greiving hearts at this difficult time.
