June 15, 1930 — November 26, 2002

Mary Lou Starinieri, 72, of Dover, died Tuesday, November 26, 2002 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, following a brief illness.Born in Akron, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Ciori Crano. Mary Lou was employed as Chief Deputy with the Tuscarawas County Recorder’s Office in New Philadelphia and was a member of Sacred Heart Church in New Philadelphia. She was also a member of the church Altar Society, the Democratic Women. She was a former caterer in the area and enjoyed traveling, crafts and baking.Her husband, Romeo Starinieri, preceded her in death in 1967. Surviving is a son and his wife, Mark (Christee) Starinieri of Dover; a daughter, Rene’ Starinieri of Temecula, California; two grandchildren, Kyla and Kory Starinieri of Dover; two sisters, Margaret Lucco and Bea DiFiore and a brother, James Crano all of Akron. A sister and three brothers are deceased.To celebrate Mary Lou’s life, a funeral mass will be held Saturday, November 30, 2002 at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Church in New Philadelphia with Msgr. George J. Schlegel officiating. The funeral procession will be forming at the church starting at 9:30 AM. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in New Philadelphia. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Sacred Heart Church, 139 Third Street NE, New Philadelphia, Ohio, 44663.
