Marian E. Rosenbery

Marian E. Rosenbery, 86, a resident of Henderson, Nevada and formerly of New Philadelphia, died Wednesday, October 23, 2002 at the Odyssey Hospice in Las Vegas, Nevada.

She was born February 15, 1916 in New Philadelphia, the only child to the late Carl B. and Verna M. Milliner Kratz.

She graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1934. On June 26, 1937 she married George W. “Boots” Rosenbery (a former City of New Philadelphia Service Director) who preceded her in death on July 22, 1994. For many years Marian managed the Reeves Hotel and the Delphian Motor Inn. She was a former member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and the Tuscarawas County Duplicate Bridge Club.
Marian is survived by her daughter, Jill Rosenbery, of Las Vegas, Nevada; grandsons, Brad, Brian and Jeffery Bower; and great-granddaughters, Colleen, Crystal and Melissa.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Luthy.

The memorial service will be Wednesday, October 30, 2002 at 2:00 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home with Rev. Richard V. Powell, II officiating. Burial will follow at East Avenue Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
