Uncle Marc, You were a great example of a son to your mother, a husband to your wife, a brother to your sisters and a father/grandfather to your sons. You were a man of integrity, principal and faith. I will miss your giggle. I will miss our conversations that were an attempt to problem solve, maybe understand, support, or find reason to life’s lessons. You will be missed but not forgotten. Your soul can now be free to ride into the sunset to meet those angels who are waiting. May your soul rest in peace
Dear Rita and family, I met Mark in 1985 while getting gas at your service station in South Phila. Little did I know that we would become instant friends for life . We had many talks over the years about our faith in God, our families, politics, and his business plans. I found that he was the kind of friend that I could ask for guidance and know that he really cared about me and for that I was truly blessed to have known him. We can all be comforted to know that Mark is in the hands of our Lord and Savior without pain for eternity ! I pray we can all learn from his life and hope to meet with him when we pass . God Bless !
This is truly heartbreaking news. Marc was such a wonderful person, father, and husband. I am sure you, his family, will feel deeply the pain of his loss, and I hope you always know how blessed you were to have the years with him that you did. He was definitely a man with presence. For a large portion of my life, Marc was my second father....and eventually, he was my only one. I will never forget the love and kindness he always gave to me, the Mary Zifer lunches, so many Hershey bars, the big belly laughs we shared, and a lifetime of advice. There were also the lectures...he loved to lecture me....and I knew when he pulled up the stool and sat down, I better pay attention. :). What I would give for him to lecture me again now. Right now, I can hear him so clearly and I know he would never want us to hurt. I wish I could hug him one last time. Marc, I hope that heaven is everything you always dreamed it would be. I hope for once you enjoy the rest. I know you will always watch over Rita and all of your children and their families. I loved you so much, my other Dad. Sleep well and dream.
I will miss you dear brother-thank you for all you’ve done for me. You had a great hand in the person I turned out to be love and hugs to your memory.
Our prayers go out to the family of such a great man. Kay and Gary Compton
So saddened to see this. I went to school with Marc and always enjoyed his personality. Then he married my cousin Rita and became a valued part of the family. He was a very successful businessman yet more importantly he was a man of God and loved his family with all his heart. We all know he is in heaven probably starting a new venture. Rita and family our hearts and prayers are with you and may Jesus wrap His arms around you always. Love Martha and family
