Lucy C. Wilhelm

Lucy C. Wilhelm, 56, of Acworth, GA and formerly of New Philadelphia, died Saturday, March 2, 2002 in Zanesville. Lucy was born November 14, 1945 in Dover to the late Dominic and Melita DiSanto Pallotto. In 1963 she graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Dennison. On July 10, 1965, she married Gary L. Wilhelm in Sacred Heart Church in New Philadelphia. In addition to her husband, Lucy is survived by two daughters, Renee (Patrick) Shalosky of Nashport and Lara (Jeff) Ginsburg of Millersburg; four sisters, Cilta Griffith, Mary Van Sickle, Ann (Gene) Neiger and Tina (Jim) Mathias, and her brother, Dom (Nancy) Pallotto, all of New Philadelphia; two grandchildren, Kayla Berichon and Adam Shalosky; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Lucy was preceded in death by a great-nephew, Bret LaCroix, and a brother-in-law, Paul Griffith. The celebration of her life will be Thursday, March 7, 2002, 10:30 AM in Sacred Heart Church, with Msgr. George J. Schlegel as celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, New Philadelphia. Following the committal, the celebration will continue with a reception at the Geib Family Center. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 6, 2002 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, with recitation of the rosary at 8:30 PM, in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home. The Geib Family Center will be available during and after visiting hours.
