Kevin D. Hall, 60, of Smyrna, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019, at his home following a brief illness.

During his career, Kevin worked as a flooring contractor in Ohio, Indiana, Florida, and Tennessee. He was very skilled at this work and was a valued employee and team member.

He was also loved by his nephews and nieces, Travis Hall of Dayton, Tennessee, Teresa Crawford of Dayton, Ohio, Michael (Jenna) Hall of Manhattan Beach, California, Jessica (Adam) Porsch of Westerville, Jeny (Matthew) Donavan of Blacklick, and Elli (Andrew) Kalas of Utica, and their children; and many friends.

Kev’s smile and laugh is forever in my mind and heart. Some of his jokes I have told over and over. My heart is saddened and my soul aches. My childhood was richer for having such a sweet cousin. My prayers to my family. Rest In Peace,Kev.

I can't express the sadness that is in my heart for Kevin's passing. He was just a hoot and such a great person to work for. He always made me smile. He had the camera door bell on his home and every time I was entering his home ( painting and repairs ) I would put my face right in front of the door bell to let him know I was there. Sure enough 2 minutes later I would receive a text telling me I need to shave my mustache. He always had something funny to say or a funny story to tell. I will miss Kevin something awful and will never forget what a wonderful friend he was to me and everyone around him here in Smyrna Tn. I was truly blessed that he was a part of my life. Rest In Peace my dear friend. You will always be missed and never forgotten... Barbara Byard

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Kevin's unexpected death. We remember him as always wearing a smile and with a quick wit. One time when the families were all camping, he fixed scrambled eggs with salsa. I eat them this way to this day--and it always reminds me of him :) Our condolences to all the family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I want to express my condolences to all of you. I worked with Kevin even though not in the same office and he and I shared jokes, he recommended readings, and he mentioned people I should make an effort to meet. He always made me feel better when I talked with him on the phone— always encouraging and happy. I will miss our phone calls and his willingness to help me with any question. I know you will miss him terribly. I Will.
