Juanita M Scott

Juanita M. Scott, 69, of Dover and formerly of Uhrichsville, went to join her husband, following a brief illness on Saturday, April 20, 2002 at her home, with her family at her side.Born in Dennison, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Minnie Merryman Gray. She was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family and devoted all of her time to her children and grandchildren.Her husband, Stanley D. Scott, preceded her in death on March 9, 2000. Surviving are three sons, Stanley Scott II of Dennison, David Scott and Steve Scott both of Uhrichsville; two daughters, Dixie (Chris) Dyer of New Philadelphia and Juanita Patterson of Uhrichsville; four sisters, Rosie Wright of Texas, Norma Law of Dennison, Doris Shannon of Massillon and Gloria Davidson of Dennison; a brother, John Gray of Uhrichsville; a step-daughter, Linda Cross of Uhrichsville; a step-son, John Scott of Uhrichsville; thirteen grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. A sister and a brother are deceased.Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2002 at 11:00 AM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home in New Philadelphia with Pastor Larry Fletcher officiating. Burial will be at Holmes Church Cemetery in New Philadelphia. A reception will be held in the Geib Family Center following the committal service. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2002 from 4 to 7 PM and Wednesday, April 24, 2002 from 10 to 11 AM in the funeral home.
