Frank, It was a pleasure to know Joyce for the short time that we worked with her. I hope the memories you have will lessen the pain you have from her passing.

We were so sorry to read of Joyce passing away. I (Jane) grew up in Sharon Moravian Church and also graduated from the former Tuscarawas-Warwick High School, as did Joyce. She was a sweet person and always a pleasure to know. She played for our wedding on December 16, 1961, and now I have to think about how very young she was at that time. Her music ability was remarkable and a joy to hear. We offer our sincere sympathy to you and your family and May God Grant You Peace.

I was so very sorry to hear of Joyce’s passing. She was such a special part of my childhood. I loved going to Sunday School and spending time singing with her. As a child, I didn’t realize just how extensive her talent was, but took for granted that she could play any song we came up with. It was a pleasure to know her. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Joyce was an extraordinary musician and teacher. For many years she came to Green Schools to accompany my students as they prepared to perform solos at contest. I looked forward to working with her each year because she met each student's needs with kindness and patience. I enjoyed getting to know her in a different light when Nick was my student. Her love and pride for Frank and Nick were often part of her conversations. She will truly be missed.

I was very fortunate to have Joyce as my music teacher in the 70's. In Lakemore. I'm now 56 and can still remember how much she enjoyed and cared about her students. Everyone loved her! She taught us songs we could sing with ease. One particular I remember was a song that named the 50 states. "Nifty fifty". Ohh so many benefited from you Mrs Sainato, thk you for wonderful memories. RIP Sweet Lady! My sun got a bit dimmer today. Randy Chupp

Praying for comfort and peace for your family. Mrs. Sainato was my music teacher and taught me piano out of her home years ago. She was always one of my favorite teachers and taught me so much! Sincerely, Jessi (Wood) Thomas
