Throughout his high school career, Jonathan enjoyed playing on the football team. He has always enjoyed fishing, playing video games, and as he became a father, centered his life around his son, Caiden.

I did not know Jonathan and am very sorry for your loss. Thank you for bringing mental illness too light. The stigma attached allows us to lose to many too soon.

To Jonathan's family - I did not know your son, however, being from a family who has experienced suicide I wanted to offer my condolences for your loss. I also wanted to applaud you for being brave enough to post the cause of his death. It is a difficult decision because as we all experience people either don't know what to say or just avoid you. Thank you for speaking out and being an advocate for both those who suffer from depression and those who survive. May you be surrounded by those who will lift you up in this difficult time. Offering prayers for peace and healing for you as you move through this time of loss and grief.
