Born June 3, 1932 in New Philadelphia, he was the son of the late George M. and Agnes Moliski Hency Pringle. He married Joann E. Chercony on August 18, 1931.
Jim was employed by Nelson Tree Service, the Warner & Swasey Company (now Gradall) and the Buckeye Joint Vocational Center (later Buckeye Career Center). BJVS school superintendent Joe Carlisle hired Jim as the school maintenance superintendent in 1976, to serve at the new school’s opening that year. He retired from Buckeye in 2008.

Lodge #510 where he spent many hours playing cards. Additionally, Jim spent many days on the lake fishing or on the golf course with friends.
Jim and Joann’s faith was nurtured at Sacred Heart Church, where Jim volunteered for many years sharing his knowledge and skills.

Jim was preceded in death by his sisters, Mildred Riker, Clara Quillen, Sarah Fielding and Eleanor Hawkins; and by his brothers, George Hency and George Pringle, Jr.
