Ida Tamborini

June 9, 1929 — September 15, 2019

Ida Marie Tamborini, age 90, formerly of New Philadelphia, died peacefully Sunday, September 15, 2019, in New Dawn Retirement Center at Dover.

Born at Wainwright, Ohio on June 9, 1929, Ida was a daughter of the late Luigi “Louis” and Laura Bollini Tamborini.

Ida was a graduate of the former Tuscarawas-Warwick School and worked for many years as a secretary at Rees Cast Stone.

She was a long-time member of Sacred Heart Church at New Philadelphia where she was a member of the Altar Society. She loved playing Bingo and being with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

Ida is survived by her sister, Estelle Lois Day, her nieces and nephews, Michele Day, Susan Wieser, James Day, David (Susan) Day and Ann Day as well as many great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ida was preceded in death by an infant sister, Rosalinda.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Jeff Coning on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at 2 PM in Sacred Heart Church at New Philadelphia. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery at New Philadelphia.
