Harold C. Cunningham, 68 of New Philadelphia, died Friday, March 15, 2002, at Union Hospital, following a sudden illness. Born April 6, 1933, in Bolivar, he was the son of the late Frank L. and Lelia P. Dean Cunningham. Harold attended Midvale High School, and retired in 1996 from Spring Industries in Midvale. He enjoyed the outdoors where he spent time gardening and fishing. Harold was also an accomplished wood worker. Survivors include his wife, the former Mary Jane Lawver with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage on November 24, 2001; three daughters: Debra Ann Cunningham, Sandra Kaye Cunningham, and Janet Faye (Tom) Albright, all of New Philadelphia; a son, Dan C. (Sue) Cunningham of Dennison; five grandchildren, Erica Albright, Scott, Chris, Sarah and Shawn Cunningham; Five brothers, Howard (Barb) Cunningham of Stone Creek; Gene (Sandy) Cunningham of Baltic; Wayne (Veronica) Cunningham and Carl (Donna) Cunningham of Dennison; and William Cunningham of New Philadelphia. Several nieces and nephews also survive.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicky Ann Cunningham; two sisters: Edna Hadorn, and Bedina Cunningham; and three brothers: Glenn, Don and Sam Cunningham. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2002, at 11 a.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home, New Philadelphia, with Rev. Henry E. Mooney of Roxford United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Dover Burial Park. Visitation will be Monday, March 18, 2002, anytime after 2 p.m., with the family present from 2 Â? 4 and 7 Â? 9 p.m., in the funeral home.
