Harmon Lute

March 21, 1955 — April 26, 2022

Harmon Allen Lute, age 67, of Uhrichsville, died Tuesday, April 26, 2022, in Community Hospice Truman House following a period of declining health.

Born in Dover, Ohio on March 21, 1955 he was a son of the late Robert “Bob” and Helen (Kohler) Lute.

Harmon had a passion for being outdoors.  Camping and cutting firewood were two of his joys in life.  He was also often found fishing or hunting.  He was also often found at Denny’s visiting with friends.  His greatest joy was spending time with his grandkids.

He is survived by his children, Naomi Hopkins of New Philadelphia and Nick (BJ) Lute of Midvale; grandchildren, Vincent Fields, Mersades (Trevor) Lute, David Hopkins, Jr., Camden “Cami” Lute, Bryce Lute and Graycin Lute; great-grandson, Merrick Fields; sister, Glenna ‘Sis” Miller; three brothers, Bill Lute, Ed Lute and Bob Lute, Jr.

Harmon was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 5 to 7 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 10:30 AM in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Tom Gruver officiating.
