Grace A. Mason

GRACE A. MASON, 74, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 3, 2002. She was born to the late Christian and Jessie Storrie Ford Steiner in Bowerston on May 21, 1927. Grace attended New Philadelphia High School. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in New Philadelphia, and was a devoted mom, grandma and great-grandma. On October 4, 1947, she married Jack J. Mason, who preceded her in death October 5, 1998. Grace is survived by her daughter, Dianna Miller and her companion Donovan McLeod, and two sons, Jack. B. (Susan) Mason and Chris Mason, all of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Tiffanie (Will) Parry, Jennifer (Matt) Brady, Stephanie Miller and Michael Miller, all of New Philadelphia, and Jacquelyn Mason of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Alexis Canfield, Tanner Rubright and Zachary Miller, all of New Philadelphia; sisters, Gladys (Chester) Hudson of Massillon, Virginia Donnell of Venice, FL, Marilyn Elco and Mary Swaney, both of New Philadelphia. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Nelson Steiner, three half-brothers and four half-sisters. The funeral will be Thursday, March 7, 2002, 1:30 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Waltz officiating. Visitation will be from prior to the funeral, from 12:00 noon until the service.
