Gary Wayne Hendrickson

Gary W. Hendrickson, 43, of Dover, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002, in Mercy Medical Center, Canton, following a long illness.Born Dec. 7, 1958, in Terre Haute, IN, he was a son of the late Richard Hendrickson and the late Alice Morecraft Hendrickson Jackson. Gary graduated in 1977 from Union Local High School, Morristown. He married the former Bonnie Powell on Jul. 2, 1993. The couple moved to Tuscarawas County in 1996. Gary was a member of the First Baptist Church, New Philadelphia. In addition to his wife, Bonnie, he is survived by two sisters, Connie (Charles) Boyd of Bannock, and Theresa (David) Hickenbottom of Barnesville; a brother, Randy (Linda) Hendrickson of Morristown; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Raymond and Shirley Powell of Dover; sister-in-law, Brenda (Eric) Gregg of Belmont; several nieces and nephews; and aunts and uncles.A funeral service will be held Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002, in the First Baptist Church, 878 Commercial Ave. S.W., New Philadelphia, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Mark Trotter officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Speidel . Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2002, 5-8 p.m., in the church.
