Mary Jo and all, I am so sorry for your loss. Gary always made me laugh. As you know he was ornery! His eyes always sparkled with mischief!! One of my favorite people. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Mary Jo: i don't know where to start or what to say except I am so sorry. Gary wasn't my only brother but he was the only one I knew, Butch pased away before I was born. Gary was my baby brother. I called on him many times for so many things. Advice (which sometimes followed other times ignored) just conversation. Sometimes we would talk for a hr or so about nothing particular just stuff, He was funny, caring and always shared stories about you; the kids; work; dr etc. Thank you for caring for him and being with him until the end. I love you for that and more. Rest now little brother.

I have so many memories of Gary when we were kids. I’d like to share one of them. We lived in the country at the time and of course living in the country doesn’t give much opportunity to go trick and treating so mom and dad would take us into town and drop us off near other kids. We started trick and treating running from home to home filling our pillow cases with candy. Gary’s mask slipped over his eyes, he tripped over wire surrounding front yard and down he went, but he didn’t lose 1 piece of candy.

So many great memories with our dad I don’t know if I can write just one. I remember going to Florida and I cut myself so bad shaving my legs....I asked for a wheel chair and dad said toughen up girl and walk. Now mind you I cut the back of my knee....lol it was bad, but I took dads advice and walked all over Disney world lol! He always pushed us kids to be our best and do our best. One lesson of many I will carry on for him! Miss him bunches already ??

I will never forget the day I through the hanger at Curtis and Uncle Gary came downstairs and swoop me up with one arm put me on the couch and gave me the look that said do not get up. I knew I had stepped over The line. the thing about Uncle Gary is he always give it to me straight and I knew that I could talk to him about anything. I will miss you Uncle Gary I love you.
