Gary E. Farver

Gary E. Farver, 53, of 28131 TR 171 Fresno, died Wednesday, May 8, 2002, in his residence of natural causes.Born June 16, 1948 in Dover, he was the son of the late Owen S. Farver and he is survived by his mother and step-father, Howard and Corrine Neiss of Baltic.He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ at New Bedford, the Coshocton Eagles Club, and was an Army veteran stationed in Germany. Gary enjoyed hunting and fishing.Gary is survived by his wife the former Edith Maurer whom he married October 10, 1970.Also surviving:2 Sons, Chris Farver of the home and Jeff (Marla) Farver of Fresno.1 Granddaghter, Nichole1 Brother, Bob (Shirley) Farver of Baltic1 Sister, Mrs. Robert (Sandy) Brown of Gahanna1 Step-brother, Dale Neiss of Denver, Colorado1 Step-sister, Mrs. Lonnie (Betty) Olinger of Baltic.Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 11, 2002, at 11:00 AM in the Zion United Church of Christ at New Bedford. Rev. Glen Shedlock and Rev. Welton Stein will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery where the Baltic American Legion will conduct military graveside services.Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 PM in the Smith-Geib Funeral Home at Sugarcreek and 1 hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
