Exe Lane Watson, 70, of Senecaville, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge, Ohio.

A daughter of the late Phillip R. Simmons Sr. and the late Mary Theresa (Meechan) Simmons, Exe was born December 1, 1948 at Dover, Ohio.

Exe graduated from Tuscarawas-Warwick High School in 1967 where she was a member of the cheerleading squad. She continued her education throughout her career including completing the University of Colorado’s Volunteer Management Certification Program.

Exe lived life to the fullest enjoying a variety of activities such as horseback riding, boating and water skiing, snow skiing, and collecting shells from the many beaches she visited. She is survived by her husband, Dan Watson whom she married on September 22, 1988; her sons Bryan (Rayna) Finnicum of Bolivar, Ohio and Mark (Jamie) Finnicum of Raleigh, North Carolina; her grandchildren, Connor, Riley, Regan, Mason and Micah and her brother, Phillip R. (Diana) Simmons Jr. of North Lawrence, Ohio.
