Eddie was a truly kind person. He would always ask about us, our kids, and their families. AND he always remembered their names! We first got to know him from the old Kinser bowling alley. That was in the late 60's. We always enjoyed our conversations and stopped to talk anytime we saw him. We will miss you Eddie but one day we will see you again, of that we are sure. Our prayers to all who knew and loved him.

Eddie knew everyone and all knew him! He was a wonderful fella and a friend to Dave and I for years...If he saw one of us alone he would ask how the other one was doing..Eddie was a neighbor to my Dad at Park Village Southside for a couple of years. I watched him decline with tears in my eyes. He was so well liked by the residents and staff. He never gave anyone a bad time there or anywhere he went in his lifetime. Dave knew him while he worked at Dover PD..He always noted how much Eddie respected and showed concern for the Officers...Rest in Peace and be healthy in Heaven Eddie....You will surely be missed here on Earth. Blessings to his family....

My family first met Eddie through the camp club we all belonged to. From that point on he would never forget you when he saw you! I remember many lovely conversations when I would run into him around town. Truly one of the nicest guys I have ever met. The world has the loss of a beautiful soul.

Not sure how much of the music Eddie could hear but he was always a fixture at any public dance or concert I played at. He was always pleasant and would great me with a warm smile and question the whereabouts and status of my children. To the family of Eddie, know that he made friends where ever he went and with whomever he met.

Dear Mizer family, I'd like to express my condolence and deep regrets your loss and share where I found help at such a time as this when I lost my entire family to this enemy death. I found hope and comfort in what I read in Jehovah Gods word the Bible at John5:28,29 for there it tells us we'll see our love ones again in the resurrection when Jesus brings them back here on earth and also at ICorinthians15:26 we're told that this enemy death will be gone forever. I'm able to cope with my loss now because these scriptures and jw.org help me to know that I'll see my love ones again and so can you. I wanted to share this with you now when hope and comfort is needed hoping that this will help you also for this is my purpose in sharing this with you at this time and please know that I do share your grief and hope you'll feel free to let me know if this helped in some way. I hope to hear from you. Sincerely, GM

Eddie was a good man who loved people. I worked midnights for years and would always see him going in and out of bars even though he didn’t drink alcohol. He just wanted to see and talk to people. Usually, at bar closing time, I would stop and briefly talk with Eddie. He would always ask about my wife calling her by name. My deepest sympathy to the family.

Samantha White posted on 10/31/19

Eddie was the best!!! I grew up living next door to him. He was a wonderful neighbor and friend. I recall many talks in my front yard from middle school, high school, summers home from college. He never forgot and always went out of his way to make sure he said hi. Even if it was snowing like crazy and i was outside shoving. Prayers for his family and friends that he left behind.
