Dorothy L. Walker

Dorothy L. Walker, 83, of New Philadelphia, died Sunday, June 30, 2002, at Morning View Care Center in New Philadelphia, following a brief illness.Born in Roswell, she was the daughter of the late Ed and Dora Fox Graham. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of God in New Philadelphia.Her husband, Blaine Walker, preceded her in death May 30, 1996. Surviving is a son, Terry L. (Myrtle) Walker of New Philadelphia; two sisters, Adeline Mowles of New Philadelphia and Evelyn Colback of Akron; two brothers, Pat Graham and Jerry Graham both of New Philadelphia, four grandchildren, Cindy Silverthorn, Chuck Walker and Matt Walker all of New Philadelphia and Holly Swihart of Dover and five great grandchildren, Drew Silverthorn, Justin Swihart, Jory Swihart, Sierra Walker and Samantha Walker and one step great-granddaughter, Chelsea. Seven brothers and four sisters are deceased.Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2002 at 9:00 AM at the East Avenue Cemetery in New Philadelphia with Rev. Matt Roe officiating.
