Donald P. Gray

Donald P. Gray, 73, of Uhrichsville, died on Friday, April 5, 2002, at his residence following a brief illness.Born in Freeport, Ohio, he is the son of Lee D. Gray of Uhrichsville and the late Mildred McCullough Gray. Donald retired from Shaffer Trucking in 1991, and was a member of Teamsters Local #92 for 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.Surviving is his wife of 40 years, Norma (Ellwood) Gray, of the home, whom he married on March 4, 1961; three daughters, Tammy (Ronald) Flesher of Toronto, Donna Gray and Lois (Tom) Mann both of Uhrichsville; a son, Myrle (Janet) Gray of Uhrichsville, six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a step-daughter, Geneva Gray and a step-son Edwin Spencer, Jr., both of Uhrichsville; two sisters, Mary Basham of Tippicanoe and Betty Shaffel of Cambridge.Two brothers, John and Leroy Gray, precede him in death.Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 11, 2002, at 1 PM at Stone Creek Cemetery, in Stone Creek, with Rev. Glen Shedlock officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, April 8, 2002, from 2 to 4 PM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home in New Philadelphia.
