David W. Seabrook, 82 of New Philadelphia, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021, surrounded by family.
Dave was born December 1, 1938, in New Philadelphia to the late William and Virginia (Ellwood) Seabrook. Dave married the former Jeannette Bertolini June 20, 1959.

David W. Seabrook, 82 of New Philadelphia, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021, surrounded by family.
Dave was born December 1, 1938, in New Philadelphia to the late William and Virginia (Ellwood) Seabrook. Dave married the former Jeannette Bertolini June 20, 1959.
Dave was a 1956 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and continued his formal education at Muskingum College. He played football in high school and college.
Dave worked as a fireman for almost 29 years in New Philadelphia and retired to work at the Oak Shadows Golf Course for 18 years.
Dave will be deeply missed by his family including his wife, Jeannette; daughters, Mary Ellen (Fred) Padro, Becky (Greg) Allison, and Beth Seabrook; 4 grandchildren, Kathy (Brandon) Lands, Carie (Ben) Dietz, Megan (Bob) Conrad, and David Padro; 6 great-grandchildren, Audrey and Noah Lands, Sam and Julia Dietz and Emma and William Conrad; sister, Ellen (Ray) Rank; brother, Steve (Ellen) Seabrook; sisters-in-law, Shirley Seabrook and Gloria deMello. Several nieces, nephews, and friends complete the family.
In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in passing by his in-laws, Rudy and Wilma Bertolini; brother, Jerry Seabrook; brother-in-law, Frank DeMello; niece, Kathy DeMello; and grand-dog, Dexter.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 27 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Pastor Brian Flood will officiate a service celebrating Dave’s life beginning at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Memorial contributions in Dave’s memory may be directed to either Community Hospice Truman House, 716 Commercial Ave SW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663 or The Quaker Foundation, PO Box 627, New Philadelphia.
The six-foot rule will be honored and all guests are required to wear a mask to enter the funeral home. For the safety of everyone, and to allow other guests to pay their respects, we politely ask that visitors do not linger in the funeral home and to promptly exit the building after greeting the family.
