Chaz Michael Lynne Huprich, 26, of New Philadelphia, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 in Cleveland Clinic-Union Hospital at Dover.

Born in Dover, he is survived by his parents, Richard D. and Sherrlye L. (Belknap) Huprich. Chaz was a 2014 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and Buckeye Career Center at New Philadelphia where he studied Automotive Body Repair.

Chaz possessed a great admiration for trains and would often visit both the Dennison Depot and Warther’s Museum at Dover. Since the age of two, when he received his first set of clubs, golf was his passion. He enjoyed playing as often as he could and also enjoyed bowling.

In addition to his parents, Chaz is survived by his two brothers, Seth and Ian Huprich both of New Philadelphia; his Nana, Laurel McAbier of Strasburg and numerous Aunts and Uncles.

His maternal grandfather, Ted Belknap and his paternal grandparents, Eugene and June Huprich precede him in death.

While I didn't know him for long, as a friend and fellow railfan it really hurts knowing Chaz has gone. He was a very loyal fan of my YouTube channel ready to beat the crap out of the haters I had. All my fans are like family to me so his passing really hurts deeply. Let us all not cry that he is gone but be glad he could make such an impact on all our lives. Fly high with your newfound wings brother.

Chaz always greeted me with a big hug whenever he saw me at work. He was such a caring and loving young man. He would also offer to go pick up lunch for me from Burger King or Wendys or DQ. I feel bad for never taking the time to either golf or go to the Train museum with him as he always asked me to join him.

Hi Chaz, I'm gonna miss you so much, buddy. We hung out pretty much every day. I saw Chaz at rural King where Chaz and I worked. And he even took me shooting one day I didn't want to shoot at the firing range because I was pretty nervous. So he pretty much just showed me the basics of how to shoot a gun. It took me a few days but we finally went back to the same shooting range and I finally got the nerve to shoot and also reloaded the gun quick and put the mag back into the gun I sucked at it. But man I will never forget how quick he was on reloading and putting the mag back into the gun it was so amazing. He was such a good friend and an awesome person to hang around with. I will never forget about him and he will always be in my heart ?? I love you chaz Huprich at least you're in a good place. God, please watch over this wonderful and funny character. R.I.P Chaz.
