Dear Family, It is with deepest sympathy I write this to you. We found out about Charly's passing too late to be able to attend his service, and that saddens me greatly. He was an older cousin I always looked up to and loved very much. He reminded me so much of Grandpa Heid as well as his dad (in actions more than looks). He was always a big tease and fun to be around. He is the first of the Heid cousins to pass, and his passing leaves a deep empty place in my heart. With tears of sadness I extend my heartfelt condolences. Love and prayers, Jeannette and Randy

Charley was a lifetime friend. We were classmates at St. Joe. He was always smiling, joking, and had a heart of gold. He will be missed, May he rest with the angles, Lynda, and God.

My sympathy to the family of Charlie. We went to school at St. Joseph 12 years together. We spent our noon lunch time playing cards. May all the family be comforted at this time and I pray that Charlie is resting in peace.

Bill, Barb, and families, I am so sorry for your lose. Our families have been intertwined for as long as I can remember. My heart ached when we buried Paul last Saturday, and it aches now again when you bury Charlie. Now Paul and Charlie are together riding a pontoon.

I had the pleasure of being Charley's neighbor for the past 10 years. Lynda and Charley are the kind of people you can only hope to have as neighbors. Both kind, caring, thoughtful people. I got to know Charley more after the passing of Lynda as I cleaned for him over the past few years. We spent a good bit of time chatting while I would be there. Charley missed Lynda deeply. I really admired the commitment and love he had for her and his boys. He leaves a legacy of being a good Christian man, husband, father, friend and neighbor. I'm very sad they are both gone now but will cherish the memories and be thankful I had the pleasure to know them both. I look forward to the day we can be neighbors again in heaven. My deepest sympathy to the family!
