Billy Ramey

Billy U. Ramey, 83, of Newcomerstown, died Friday, March 1, 2019 in Mercy Medical Center at Canton.

Born in Sharon, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Hobert and Elizabeth Fabin Ramey Sr. and had retired from a manufacturing company in Solon, Ohio. Following his retirement, Billy also worked for Baker’s IGA in Newcomerstown.

Surviving are his wife, Cynthia L. Daniels Ramey, whom he married November 14, 1970; a step-son, David Corbett of Tennessee; and a granddaughter, Haley (Dustin) Bryant; a great-granddaughter, Elena Bryant of Willowick, Ohio; and brother, Donald (Judy) Ramey of Arizona. Four brothers are also deceased.

In keeping with his wishes, Billy is to be cremated through the care of Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory and no services are to be scheduled.
