Betty Naus

Betty Marlene Naus, 86, of Massillon and formerly of Dover, died peacefully, Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in Aultman Compassionate Care Center at Canton.

Born in Zoarville, Ohio on June 20, 1931, Betty was a daughter of the late Silas Elmer and Catherine Marie Luthy McKinney.

She was a 1949 graduate of Dover High School and retired in 1986 from the former Reeves Steel, where she was employed as a clerk.

Betty is survived by her son, Charles (Connie) Naus of Dalton, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Naus whom she married on April 24, 1954 and preceded her in death on March 18, 2008 following nearly 54 years of marriage; her siblings, Florence (Arthur) Crilley, Zora (Chester) Sims, Lowell (Carolyn) McKinney, Frederick (Jeanne) McKinney and Emma (Bud) Smith.

In keeping with Betty’s wishes there will be no public services. Cremation care will be conducted by Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory at Dover. Private inurnment alongside her husband will take place in Sandy Township’s Greenlawn Cemetery.
