Betty E. Tidrick

BETTY E. TIDRICK, 80, of New Philadelphia, died in Union Hospital at Dover on Friday morning, February 15, 2002. Betty was born June 17, 1921, a daughter of the late Jason L. and Malinda K. Wilden Barcus. She attended New Philadelphia High School and was a homemaker. Betty was a member of Roxford United Methodist Church, the Midvale V. F. W. Auxiliary and the Mineral City American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing Bingo and was known for her excellent cooking skills. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Tidrick, on December 25, 1992. She is survived by two sons, Robert D. (Neva) Tidrick and Jerry L. (Earlene) Tidrick, and a daughter, Katherine (Robert) Lewis; two sisters, Pauline Fisher and Martha (Fred) Torgler, all of New Philadelphia; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her three brothers, George, Paul and Bill Barcus. The funeral will be Sunday, February 17, 2002, at 2:00 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home with Rev. Henry E. Mooney officiating. Private burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.
