Beth Ann Hibbs, age 52, of Bolivar suddenly died Friday, October 29, 2021, in Mercy Medical at Canton.

Born on July 7, 1969, in Dover, Ohio Beth was a daughter of William and Priscilla (Booth) Hibbs.

She was a 1987 graduate of Indian Village North High School and then graduated from Walsh University with a Bachelor degree in accounting.

Professionally, Beth was employed at ACY, Inc. in North Canton where she was the office manager.

Beth had a deep love for Cleveland Indians Baseball and attended many games with family and friends.  She was also a fan of Jim Thome and followed him throughout his baseball career and attended his induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame.  Additionally, she loved to cross- stitch.  Beth was also very active in her church, The Community of Christ, and served as the church treasure.

Her favorite time of year was Christmas and loved to decorate early for the season.  Her house included 9 Christmas trees decorated with room themes and she also enjoyed her lighted Dickens Village.  She was often found listening to Christmas music in her office year-round.

In addition to her parents, Beth will be missed by her sister, Emily Hibbs of Bolivar; niece, Grace Hibbs and nephew, William Hibbs.  She will also be missed by her dog companion, Molly.  Completing the family are many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will greet guests on Friday, November 5, 2021, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in the Linn-Hert- Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia.  A service celebrating her life will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, November 6th beginning at 10:30 a.m. with Jim Watson officiating. Burial will follow in the Schoenbrunn Meadow Burial Park at New Philadelphia.

In honor of Beth’s love of all things Christmas, memorial contributions in her memory may be directed to T-4-C Share A Christmas, at 1458 5th St NW New Philadelphia, OH 44663.

I remember Beth from school as she graduated a couple years ahead of me. Also she was in my 4-h club. Her mom was one of the advisors for our club. Beth was always so nice and smiling. I remember going to their house in the river bottoms. They would have Halloween parties for our 4-h club. I'm so sorry for your loss. She was taken way to young. Prayers for all her family and friends.
