Dear Bertha, I am so sorry to learn of your passing. You have certainly earned your heavenly reward and much needed rest, although knowing you,you still won't rest....you'll be watching over Krystal and all of your loved ones. Rest assured that they will be safe and cared for so you can rest and not worry. May God greet you with open arms and take you to your mansion and make you put your feet up and relax. I haven't seen you since I retired from SEI but I always enjoyed our conversations when we could talk about Midvale and all of your memories. Rest in the light, dear Berthaand God bless you always

To the McConnell & Baxter families: I graduated with Bertha from Midvale HS - we met once a month for lunch and always enjoyed her being with us - she never complained - always had a smile and a sweet spirit. Crystal was her life and she devoted her life to her. Bertha was a wonderful caring mother to her. God gives his '''special''' children to special people, and Bertha was one SPECIAL person. Treasure your memories You have our sympathy, Merle & Shirley (LeMasters) King

Bertha you were a wonderful person to get to know and your love for your daughter was one no one could imagine. You were the sweetest ladies with a big heart. You love your puzzles, and God, and most of all Krystal. We will miss you dearly. God has an amazing angel with him and Krystal has a wonderful guardian watching over her.

My memories of Bertha include her love of God, church, family, puzzles, and first and foremost...Krystal. <3 We often spoke of her job, which she enjoyed for all the years she worked at Lauren. Her only regret in life was that she didn't have more children, but Bertha would say "But God gave me such a special one, that it made up for not having more. Who could ask for a more beautiful, wonderful daughter ?" Your smile and wit will be missed. Rest in peace, Bertha.
