Please accept my sympathy to the Goodwin family on the passing of Ada. She was my grade school teacher back in 1965 & 1966 of which I have many fond memories of here being a guiding light and sturdy as a rock in a very trying and painful time in my life. She set my sail in the right direction of school and its values and I'll ever be grateful. May God grant her soul peace and may the family find peace at heart on the many lives she touched, such as mine. May God Bless each of you.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Mrs. Goodwin was my 2nd grade teacher at South Ave. No matter where I saw her she always had a special smile. She was a great teacher and a very sperical person.

Dear Genevieve and Bill and Families, I was saddened to hear of the passing of your mother, Mrs. Goodwin. She and your father have been a part of my memories for more than fifty years; half of her earthly life. I remember "Jack" and sitting on the porch with your parents on Prospect St. when the "Dutchman's Pipe" were in bloom. They were superb neighbors to my grandparents in every way. Thank you for the opportunity to renew friendship with her in the recent years. God Bless all of you in these times as you grieve and remember the life of your mother. Sincerely, Dick and Joy Bednarz

I was a close friend of Joan Tierney's and met Ada on more than one occasion, both at Joan's home and in the nursing home. Joan talked about Ada often, kept in contact with her by phone as much as she could until her health began to fail, and talked about Genevieve and Billy. Joan had such respect for Ada as a teacher and as a dear friend. The stories of the Goodwin family and how much Joan loved you all will stay in my mind. Ada was a great lady!
