Wilma Brick

Wilma J. Brick, 97, of Dover, passed away peacefully, Thursday, April 2, 2026, in Ohio’s Hospice Truman House at New Philadelphia.

Born on September 2, 1928, Wilma was a daughter of the late James L. and Agnes E. (Ricklic) Truman. On June 27, 1953 she married Dean Willis Brick.

Wilma was a candy stripper and nurses’ aide at Union Hospital for over 9 years. However, her greatest love was being a homemaker and caring for her family. She was a member of the New Philadelphia VFW Post 1445, The Moose Lodge, and the Tuscarawas County Senior Center.

She will be missed by her daughters, Vikki (John Kenney) Brick, Shari (Mick) Klingler, and Shelly (Rusty Rennicker) Brick all of New Philadelphia;

In addition to her parents, and husband, Wilma was preceded in death by a brother, Chester (Jeannie) Truman.

In keeping with Wilma’s wishes cremation care has been entrusted to Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory. A private inurnment will take place at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery next to her husband.
