Willard A. "Butch" Stafford, III

Willard A. “Butch” Stafford, III, of Somerdale, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023, at his home, following a period of declining health.

Born in Dover, Butch was the son of the late Willard A. Stafford, Jr. and is survived by his mother, Candyce A. (McNIchols) Stafford of Somerdale. A 1990 graduate of Tuscarawas Valley High School, Butch had formerly worked as a welder in the manufacturing and fabrication industry. When he was not working, Butch loved to be outdoors hunting or fishing.

In addition to his mother, Butch is survived by two sisters, Jamie (Nathan) Nickol of Mineral City and Pam (Larry) Pringle of Roswell; a nephew, Chase Locker; three nieces, Makayla (Ryan) Strain, Mackinze Pringle and Tausha (Tim) Hartman and two great-nieces and a great nephew, Paisley, Charleigh and Carter.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation care is to be provided by the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia without a public visitation or service.
