Veda M. Zingery

Veda M. Zingery, 79, of New Philadelphia, died peacefully Sunday, November 20, 2005, at Shoenbrunn Care Center.A daughter of the late George and Deborah Johnson Bennett, Veda was born January 13, 1926, in Flushing, O.She graduated high school in Xenia, O. and was retired from Miller Studio’s in New Philadelphia. Veda was a 56 year member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in New Philadelphia. She enjoyed camping, boating, swimming and fishing and doing word puzzles.She is survived by daughters, Diane Zingery, of New Philadelphia and Anna Marie (Jeffrey) Tice, of Canton; sons, Russell E., David J. (Carol) and Thomas D. Zingery; five grandchildren; and two great grandsons.Veda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Russell W. Zingery, whom she married August 14, 1949; three sisters; and a brother.Visitation will be Tuesday, November 22, 2005, from 1 to 3p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia. Services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib chapel. Burial will be at Evergreen Burial Park in New Philadelphia.
