Veda L. Reichman

Veda L. Reichman, 86, of New Philadelphia, died Saturday, December 14, 2002 at Aultman Hospital in Canton following a brief illness.Born in Holloway, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Hattie Powell Cochran. Veda had worked as a sales clerk for the former House of Baskets in New Philadelphia and was a member of the Sharon Moravian Church in Tuscarawas.Her husband, Dennis L. Reichman, preceded her in death on August 19, 1965. Surviving are a son, Richard (Rebecca) Reichman of Massillon; a daughter, Janice (Jerry) Gordon of Ottawa; a sister-in-law, Etta Belle Reichman of New Philadelphia; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Five brothers and two sisters are also deceased.Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2002 at 2:00 PM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home in New Philadelphia with Rev. Michael Foran officiating. Burial will be at Sharon Moravian Church Cemetery in Tuscarawas. Visitation will beheld Tuesday, December 17, 2002 from 1 to 2 PM.
