Tricia Ann (Reddick) Lawson, of Brewster, went to be with the Lord on June 19, 2026, at Aultman Hospital in Canton following a period of declining health.
She was born on September 30, 1969, in Cocoa Beach, Florida, to the late Richard Eugene Reddick and Barbara A. (Taylor) Reddick. She graduated from Ridgewood High School, where she played softball and was proud to have competed in the finals in Louisville, Kentucky, with the Cabot's Lumber team of West Lafayette.
Tricia married the love of her life, Jonathan Robert Lawson, on May 23, 1992. Together they shared many happy years and built a family that was the center of her world. She was active in her community, playing adult softball, coaching youth tee-ball and baseball, and was a Cub Scout leader for many years.
Tricia found great joy in camping, spending time with her family, and especially making memories with her grandchildren. She loved animals and cherished the companionship they brought to her life.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Jonathan Robert Lawson; her children, J.T. (Heather) Lawson of Beach City and Dr. Lindsey (Jose) Hernandez of Gahanna; and her grandchildren, Zane, Corbin, Kora, and Warren, who were the absolute lights of her life. Tricia’s heart was also filled with eager anticipation for the arrival of her daughter's first baby, Elias, expected this October. She is also survived by her father- and mother-in-law, Robert and Brenda Lawson of Brewster, along with numerous cousins, friends, and extended family members who will miss her dearly.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. in Welty Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in Tricia's memory.
Tricia's kindness, devotion to her family, and love for her grandchildren and animals will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
