Terry Armstrong, age 83, of Sherrodsville, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026, in Aultman Hospital after a period of declining health.

Born in Uhrichsville on October 7, 1942, Terry was a son of the late Ross and Beulah (Mahaffey) Armstrong.

Terry was a 1960 graduate of Uhrichsville High School. He worked for the Ohio Laborers Local 134 Union out of Newcomerstown for over 45 years. He served the union as a truck driver. In his free-time he enjoyed attending auctions and playing Euker.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years the former Kay Gardner; his children, Sherry (Stanley) Burkhart of Sherrodsville, Polly (Andy) Kopka of Rockhill, SC, Lorie (Mark) Schluetz of Delaware, OH, and Ronald Armstrong of Delaware, OH; grandchildren, Joseph, Sarah, Justin, Emily, Benjamin, Hannah, Megan, Molly, Ethan, Nichole, and Karl; great-grandchildren, Kayden, Sophie, Nixie, Chloe, Blake, Caleb, Joey, and Scarlett; sisters, Delores Yonley, Carol Armstrong, and Myra (Cecil) Migoni; brothers, Myron (Nikki) Armstrong, David Armstrong, and Randy Armstrong; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Estella Salina; and brother, William Armstrong.

In keeping with Terrys wishes no services are planned at this time. The Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia is handling cremation care.
