Susie A. Crone

Susie A. Crone, 93, of Dover, died Thursday, February 2, 2017 in Park Village Health Care Center at Dover following a period of declining health.

A daughter of the late Samuel and Lucy (Grafton) Aubihl, Susie was born November 4, 1923 in Tuscarawas County, Ohio.

Susie was a longtime employee at U.S. Ceramic at East Sparta and retired after 36 years of service. She was a member of the Dover V.F.W. and enjoyed dancing.

She is survived by a son, Gerald “Jerry” Kail of Dover; her grandchildren, Kristie Kail, Jennifer Follweiler, Jerry Kail, Michael Kail and Scott Kail and five great grandchildren.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Vernon “Gene” Kail.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service celebrating Susie’s life will be held on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Hugh Berry officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia.
