Susan Arnold

Susan Arnold, age 71, of Port Washington, passed away peacefully at her home on September 18, 2025, after a brief illness.

Born March 5, 1954, in Dover, Susan was the daughter of the late Robert and Betty (Byers) Weber, Sr. After completing her formal education, she married her husband of 53 years, Douglas Arnold, on August 8, 1972.

Susan worked for many years in medical billing. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were her pride and joy in life. She also never found a stray animal that was not in need of a good meal and a new home. Susan spent hours feeding animals.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Douglas Arnold; daughter, Aimee (Steve Brown) Arnold of New Philadelphia; son, Joe Arnold of Port Washington; grandchildren, Gage Brown, Maddox Brown, and Bailey (Kris) Hostetler; great-grandchildren, Keegan and Bostyn Hostetler; sister, Jayne Weber; brother, Terry (Linda) Myers; sister-in-law, Kathy Weber; nephews, Mike Walker, Zach Swarny, and Bobby (Meagan) Weber III; niece, Dana Weber; great niece, Bella Swarny; great-nephews, Reid Swarny, Kash Swarny, Wyatt Swarny, Griffen Weber, and Hayden Weber; life-long best friend, LuAnn Hagey; and dog, Louie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mindy Arnold; nephew, Cody Swarny; niece, Sarah Swarny; and brother, Robert F. Weber II.

In keeping with Susan’s wishes there are no services scheduled. Cremation care has been entrusted to Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory.
