Steven Roth

Steven Roth, age 55, of Dover, Ohio, passed away on January 6, 2026, at New Dawn Retirement Community following a long and courageous health battle.

Born on April 18, 1970, he was a lifelong resident of Tuscarawas, Ohio.

Steve was a graduate of Indian Valley High School and was employed in maintenance with A.R.E. Truck Caps. He proudly served his community as a volunteer firefighter with the Warwick Township Volunteer Fire Department for numerous years.

Steve especially treasured time spent outdoors and loved taking his nieces fishing at Tappan Lake. He was a gun enthusiast, held a concealed carry license, and enjoyed attending gun shows.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Ann (Fox) Roth.

Steve is survived by his sister, Tawnya (Michael) Youmans; his brother, Mike (Laurie) Roth; nieces and nephews Makayla, Emma, and Hannah Roth, Matt (Kayla) Youmans, and Stephanie (William) Brown; and great-nieces and great-nephews Gavin, Beckett, and Macy Youmans, and Grayson and Penny Brown.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia. A Firefighter’s Last Call Service will begin at 2:45 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Pastor Mike Cunningham.
